Ricky Gonzalez, BS, CSCS, CPT
A multi-title winner in competitive bodybuilding, strength coach, and teacher, Ricky Gonzalez has spent many years of his life involved in the health and fitness industry. Over the course of those years Ricky has successfully worked with every type of client imaginable, including morbidly obese men and women, adolescents, elderly individuals, general fitness enthusiasts, competitive bodybuilders, and even elite athletes, helping almost all of them attain their health and fitness goals.
Working in various health clubs for years and even as an exercise physiologist in a bariatric wellness center for the obese, Ricky developed a vast amount of experience at an early age. By 2005, just a few short years later, Ricky established True Body Training, Inc., graduated on the dean's list from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Physiology, Minor in Dietetics/Nutrition, and became Head Strength and Conditioning Coach of Miami-Dade College, where he would train some of the nation's finest NJCAA nationally ranked collegiate athletes for 2 years.
In 2007, in his own athletic endeavors, Ricky competed in and won the light heavyweight class and overall titles in both the NPC Gateway Classic Bodybuilding Championships and The Florida versus Bahamas Invitational. At that time, he also became a Florida NPC bodybuilding, fitness and figure judge.
Ricky’s passion for personal training continued and came through for him in the biggest way possible in 2008, when he was rehired by Miami-Dade College as their NSPA (National Strength Professionals Association) Certified Personal Trainer Course Instructor where he teaches, certifies, and passes down the tools of being a successful personal trainer to those beginning their careers in the health and fitness industry.
Overall, Ricky’s enthusiasm, experience, and knowledge have made him one of South Florida's most sought-out personal trainers.

Christina Steel, BS, CPT
A longtime fitness enthusiast, Christina Steel has established herself as an elite athlete in various sports, such as swimming, triathlons, and cross country. She was also a certified USS Swim Coach and coached age-groupers and masters competitors for local and national meets. At the time, Christina was also a full-time student at Florida International University, where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Physiology. In addition, she studied and took many courses in Athletic Training, Therapeutic Exercise, and Nutrition. During her time at FIU, Christina was on the Women’s NCAA Division 1A Cross Country Team and helped lead her team to a very successful season.
Furthermore, Christina also worked in the university’s Student Fitness Center as their head cycling and aerobics instructor, as well as personal trainer. With all of her experience in athletics and knowledge of exercise science, Christina was even asked to begin teaching entry-level weight training courses and holding running clinics for the university.
After graduating, she continued her athletic endeavors in the NPC by competing in and winning the overall title in the 2007 NPC Southern States Figure Championships.
From there, she attained a top 10 finish in the NPC’s largest pro qualifying contest, the NPC USA Figure Championships.
Currently, Christina is conducting personal training and sports-specific training in all areas including running, swimming, and cycling for individuals of all fitness levels. Christina’s experience in so many areas of health and fitness has made her a highly sought-out personal trainer and one of the best in south Florida.
